Bright Summer Night

Based on the Shakespeare play A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Bright Summer Night (10 x 10mins) is the drama series debut from popular YouTubers’ The Candle Wasters. Set across one fateful night at a teenage house party, each episode follows the adventures, loves, hopes and dreams of a different character inspired by Shakespeare’s play.

The series was produced by Bevin Linkhorn who mentored The Candle Wasters collective – five young filmmakers making their first funded series drama.
